Hello, I'm Walter van Vliet, and I am a practice nurse at Loudon Medical Centre. In 1992 I obtained my nursing HBO-V diploma in The Hague and I can call myself a qualified nurse. I completed my training as a respiratory nurse at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences in 2010.
I have been working at Loudon MC since 22 April 2007. At first, I only worked in my capacity as a respiratory nurse for asthma and COPD patients. The past few years, after completing my post-graduate training as a practice support staff member, I also took on the task of counselling diabetes patients.
I hope that the PRISMA course for our centre’s diabetes patients which I organised in 2016 and 2017 becomes a recurring event. For more information, please go to prisma-diabetes.nl. If you have any questions about PRISMA, you can also contact me by e-mail.
