I started as a doctor's assistant at Loudon Medical Centre on 1 September 2010. Before, I worked as a financial/administrative assistant for 16 years. After having worked with numbers for so long, I was looking for something entirely different. The healthcare sector always appealed to me and so making a switch to become a doctor's assistant seemed a logical choice.
Even so, during my training, I also missed my work with numbers and in administration. Fortunately, I was able to combine my two passions within Loudon MC.
So now I thoroughly enjoy my work in which I am also involved in the (financial) administration and quality of the medical centre.
