How does Indigo work?
The psychologists at Indigo believe that people can do a lot themselves when it comes to taking control of their lives again. Especially if they can get help quickly. This prevents problems from getting worse. From Indigo, you can expect the following:
- Short-term help: all courses and treatments take place in no more than eight sessions.
- Stepped care: we always start with a treatment in its lightest form. If a client needs further or different care, we will see if Indigo can provide this care or refer you to the second-line care;
- No waiting lists: Indigo helps people address their mental problems in the earliest possible stage. Appointments can be made within 1 to a maximum of 3 weeks.
- Referral: when you want a consultation with one of our healthcare providers, you will need a referral from your GP. This is not always required for a preventive course or an information meeting. In some cases, the client can register him/herself, while at other times, a referral letter from the GP is mandatory.
New clients that are referred to Indigo will, in most cases, get a personal page on the My Indigo website. Via My Indigo, the client will get into contact with the healthcare provider and he/she can fill in a number of questionnaires. These questionnaires are an essential part of Indigo's work method. The answers provide valuable information about the client's complaints, about the required help, and about the progress of the treatment process. This work method enables us to offer even better services while our clients will receive the help they need as quickly as possible.
