GP (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)
M. de Bruyn Kops

After obtaining my medical degree, I started working as a doctor in the Department of Surgery. I worked there for a considerable time with great pleasure, and was able to further develop myself as a person and as a physician. During this period, I also gained a lot of experience performing minor surgical procedures, something I still enjoy doing as a General Practitioner to this day. After surgery, I started my GP training in Amsterdam. It was a wonderful career change that I have not regretted to this day; the GP profession is a special one in which we experience both the diversity of medicine and that of the people around us.

After working as a locum at Medisch Centrum Loudon for a period, I took over Dr. Siccama's practice in July 2024, together with my colleague Rosanne van Velzen. It was a huge challenge, but thanks to the fantastic team around us and the wonderful patients, this feels like a natural and beautiful step.

In addition to being a GP, I am also a mother of two young children and therefore work part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
