Doctor's assistant

The doctor's assistants have a great variety of tasks to support the GP's. Not only they do thorough thelephone triage, they also have the answers to a wide range of minor medical problems and practical questions about referrals and prescriptions. They also carry out the following procedures:

Wound care
Injections
Ear syringing
Removal of stitches

Smear tests
Freezing warts
Urine test

Our POH's support the GP's by taking care of patients with chronic diseases such as astma, diabetes and heart diseases. The POH-GGZ psychologist offer help to patients in need of mental support.
